Join Jeffrey Cook, local theater scenic artist and Member at-Large for the Capitol Hill Community Council, as he explores the Capitol Hill art scene at the monthly Blitz art walk on April 10.
“We will meet in the café at The Elliott Bay Book Company (1521 10th Avenue) at 5:45 p.m. and depart from there at 6 p.m.”
Jeffrey will plan a route that stops to view and experience art at several locations. At 7 p.m. his group will arrive at Vermillion Gallery (1508 11th Avenue) for a secondary rendezvous point, then depart there at about 7:20 p.m. for a few more destinations (like the galleries around Olive Way), as time allows. The evening will wrap up around 8 p.m.
This is a free walking tour and all interested parties are welcome to join in to meet neighbors and discuss the art and artists along the journey. Rain will not cancel the event; come prepared with good walking shoes and whatever you need to enjoy the evening.
Look for Jeffrey in his tie and name tag at the Cafe at Elliot Bay Books by 6 pm!
