What would you tell someone who might feel uneasy about needles to make them feel more comfortable about getting acupuncture?
This is one of the funny things about me being an acupuncturist. I am incredibly sensitive to needles and thus to people’s fear. Which is where Gentle Point comes from. There is so much that we can do in a treatment that is not needle insertion. We can do massage, cupping, or herbal medicine. Traditional Chinese medicine looks at the body as a whole and it is not predicated on using just one modality to address an issue. There are many pathways to health.
