Although spring doesn’t start until the end of this month, I am ushering it in early with this Orange Vanilla Marmalade. It is like sunshine in a bottle.

Marmalade differs from jam in the sense that is has a chunkier texture and it includes both the pulp and peel of the fruit. In my opinion, it has brighter tones of citrus as well.

The beauty of this recipe is that it comes together in less than 20 minutes. You can scramble an egg, pop in a piece of toast and have this marmalade bubbling on the stove. It’s a gourmet breakfast on the fly. Don’t just limit it to the early morning though. You can slather the Orange Vanilla Marmalade on a chicken breast for a sweet and savory dinner. The options are truly endless.
